Erica Weiner jewelry

I love these pieces by Erica Weiner. The first is a hand-cast replication of a cocktail pick used in the 1930s-50s at the Waldof Astoria Hotel ($85). The second one is called the Pretzel Knot necklace, which is matte brass and clasp-free ($30). There are more intriguing designs on the site, such as the Vertebrae, the Birdcall, Gold Letterpress, the Alcoholics necklace to name just a few.

Hydrangeas Hand Embroidered Cuff Bracelet

Lovely handembroidered cuff bracelet from Waterrose's etsy shop.

"I have created this textile cuff by hand embroidering green and purple hydrangeas with silken green leaves. The cuff is felted wool lined with a lovely green and white linen created by Cicada Studios. I've used a large, antique yellow button to close the cuff."

Trader Joes

This video that a fan made for Trader Joe's makes me happy. There's so much sweet affection and humor in it..and I totally feel that wistfulness for certain discontinued items. Gotta love TJs.

Coraline's Sweaters

I can't wait to see the stop motion film "Coraline". Check out this amazing video on how this woman knitted all of Coraline's teeny tiny detailed sweaters and gloves:

Swedish Hasbeens

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!

I lovelovelove Swedish Hasbeens sandals/clogs...they totally remind me of the clogs I LIVED IN when in college. These ones below are the perfect amount of peep toe for me. On their websie, they say they're available on Zappos but I've only seen them on Free People:

Office of the Tooth Fairy

This is absurdly beautiful letterpress goodness!

"The Official Tooth Fairy Kit contains one letterpress Certificate of Record for filing with your local Tooth Fairy and one reusable silkscreened cloth deposit bag for your first and all subsequent transactions. The official certificate keeps record of name, age, tooth lost, method of extraction and compensation information."

Denim Pencil Skirt by Jcrew

Tempting.

"Always a classic and perfectly polished in cotton with a hint of stretch. Our pencil skirt boasts a lean, leg-lengthening silhouette and pieced waistband with zip fly (an ideal waistline for tucked-in tops). We love it paired with a pretty blouse and sky-high heels."

The strange and unusual world of steam punk is fascinating to me. I love these London Particulars keyhole rings -- they come from the private collection of Professor Aubrey Thistlequick...
